“On the Day of Judgment, the first thing a person will be asked about is their prayer. If it is good, the rest of their deeds will be good.”

As mentioned in the Quran:

2. Bab Al-Jihad – The Gate of Struggle
This gate honors those who have striven in the path of Allah. While Jihad is often misunderstood, it includes both the inner struggle against sin and the external effort to protect and uphold justice.
Who enters through this gate?
- Those who participated in defending Islam and justice.
- Those who made sacrifices for the sake of Allah.
- Those who engaged in Jihad An-Nafs (struggle against one’s own desires).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever sincerely fights in the path of Allah, Paradise is guaranteed for him.”
3. Bab As-Sadaqah – The Gate of Charity
This gate is for those who were generous and helped those in need.
Who enters through this gate?
- Those who gave Sadaqah (voluntary charity).
- Those who paid Zakat (obligatory charity).
- Those who helped the poor, orphans, and the needy.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 589)

The Prophet (ﷺ) also said:

4. Bab Ar-Rayyan – The Gate of Fasting
One of the most special gates is Bab Ar-Rayyan—reserved only for those who fasted, especially in Ramadan.
Who enters through this gate?
- Those who fasted Ramadan properly.
- Those who observed voluntary fasts, like Mondays and Thursdays.
- Those who fasted on Arafa, Ashura, and White Days.

“Indeed, there is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Rayyan through which only those who fasted will enter, and no one else.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1896)

5. Bab Al-Hajj – The Gate of Pilgrimage

- Those who completed the Hajj pilgrimage sincerely.
- Those who performed Umrah (the lesser pilgrimage).
- Those who adhered to the rites and etiquette of pilgrimage.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit sins while performing Hajj, he will come out as sinless as a newborn child.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1773)
6. Bab Al-Kazimeen Al-Ghaiz – The Gate of Those Who Suppress Their Anger
This gate is for those who control their anger and forgive others.
Who enters through this gate?
- Those who restrain their anger in challenging situations.
- Those who forgive people even when wronged.
- Those who embody patience and mercy in their interactions.
The Quran states:
“Who spend in the cause of Allah during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good.” (Surah Al-Imran 3:134)
7. Bab At-Tawbah – The Gate of Repentance
This gate is for those who constantly repented and returned to Allah with sincere hearts.
Who enters through this gate?
- Those who sincerely repented and sought forgiveness.
- Those who made Istighfar (seeking forgiveness) daily.
- Those who corrected their mistakes and tried to improve.
The Quran states:
“Indeed, Allah loves those who repent and those who purify themselves.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

The Quran states:
